Allégro 4% Jalapeno Mexicana Salad


5 oz (175 g) Allégro 4% Jalapeno
1 romaine lettuce coarsely cut
1 small red onion chopped
1 green pepper cut in strips
2 tomatoes, quartered
20 stuffed olives, halved
8 slices grilled turkey, crumbled
1 cup (250 ml) croutons

Ingredients for dressing:
8 tbsps. (120 ml) olive oil
2 tbsps. (30 ml) lemon juice
2 tbsps. (30 ml) wine vinegar
1tsp (5 ml) Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) Tabasco sauce
Few drops of Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste


Arrange romaine lettuce leaves in a bowl. Add onion, pepper, tomatoes, stuffed olives and crumbled turkey. Mix together well.
Put dressing ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
Pour dressing over salad and toss.
Cut Allégro 4% Jalapeno cheese in cubes and add to salad.
Add croutons. Arrange salad on plates and serve with corn chips.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 3 - 5 minutes for bacon
